The Story
Yokubō takes place at Ryūsei Shima—the island of meteors. 7 years prior, Azuma was once the region that brought unity and upheld peace in the three others. Kita, Miniami and Nishi. But during an invasion of demons in the capital, the Queen of Azuma is murdered. For this tragic event.. the Commander of Nishi’s army was blamed for his sly nature. And as a result, a war that lasted 5 years was waged between the two regions. Until this day, the four regions have stayed divided. With each refusing involvement and communication.
On the other hand, you arrive here falling from the skies during a decennial meteor shower. Awaking the next morning in Azuma’s castle; unable to recall any past memories. The King meets with you and recounts the state of this island. And that you were chosen by the Gods to aid in reuniting Ryūsei. Without delay, you’re fitted for a journey across the lands, and the goal stuck at the back of your mind. Who knows whether or not you’ll reach the end. Only fate will decide.
